MIA'S SOCCER TEAM:

So we met with Mia's coach and the rest of her team today to pick up her uniform. Their colors are black and purple (just like my Sacramento Kings, baby!!!). It looks like there are about 11 teams in her league, so hopefully they'll be able to play everyone at least once. That makes for about a 10 week season... so they'll be playing soccer (weather permitting, of course) through Thanksgiving!! =S Anyway, Mia was pretty excited being with her team - Hayley, Abbey, Gillian, Emily, Anika, and Mia. In the "4-year olds" they'll play 4 vs. 4 on a shortened field with no goalies. The idea here is to introduce the sport to them, and get them used to being out on the field with their team... having fun mostly. =)

Don't worry, I'll get plenty of footage to post here, including a team photo. For now, we just want Mia to enjoy the experience, get a bit of exercise, and learn about good sportsmanship. We're looking forward to this coming soccer season.
