Another first for Jacob.

So he couldn't wait to get a little bit older before he broke his first vase in our house. I know you're all thinking "... that kid is definitely a DEGUZMAN", right?

Ironically, one of the first vases that I broke (errr... that is, that I happened to be in the vicinity of when it was broken...) as a kid is still in our possession - held together by some glue (which I should probably reinforce one of these days). I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Jacob finds a way to finish the job that I started with this vase.

This blog is inspired by the thoughts, words, and actions of my two kids (currently ages 6 and 2 years old as of 7/16/08). Needless to say, most of these posts will be about my eldest... I hope she doesn't grow to hate me for this! =S Still, these are stories that we soon forget about if we don't write them down.

As an import from the state of Michigan (GO PISTONS!!), I came to California and discovered that it CAN be sunny and warm in December!! Met my wife in High School (she just couldn't stop following me around - hahaha), and now with a daughter and new-born son, who knows what adventures lie ahead? Stay tuned...
